Ponstan 250mg 20 CAPS

PONSTAN is used to relieve the symptoms of period pain, treat heavy periods and manage pain or heavy bleeding due to the use of an intrauterine device (IUD). Use as directed. 

Do NOT use Ponstan:

• If you are allergic to mefenamic acid, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatory medicines
• In children under 14 years of age.
• If you are pregnant and in the third trimester of your pregnancy. For use at other stages during pregnancy, talk to your doctor. 
• If you had diarrhoea with this medicine in the past. Diarrhoea may recur if you take PONSTAN again.
• If you have a gastric ulcer (i.e. stomach or duodenal ulcer), a recent history of one, or have had gastric ulcers before.
• If you have or have had inflammation and/or ulceration of the lining of the stomach or bowel. Some examples of these conditions include Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
• If you have kidney disease.

• If you have severe heart failure.

• If you have liver failure.

• If you are about to have or have had recent coronary artery bypass surgery.

Ingredients:

Mefenamic acid 250mg, lactose, sugar.
